Left wing - Believe that the governments job is to create and force equality between people as some people NEED it. They support state education , immigration , the NHS and that any crime that has been committed is simply because society has failed to help those who need it. They also believe that education is better than a punishment for those who have committed a crime as it is more likely to reduce crime.

Right wing - Believe that the governments job is to create opportunity and encourage competition by rewarding those who succeed in life and not helping those who don't as it is your fault you have not succeeded. They support private education and healthcare. They also believe that crimes are committed by people who chose to be that way, therefore them being punished will help reduce crime for anyone else.

Democrat - Believe in and uphold government by the people. They have a big emphasis on community and believe that everyone in society is responsible for each other

Republican - Believe that free markets and individual achievements are the key aspects behind economic prosperity
